Authorship and identity
Articles identify their author in the visible page header. Lauren is identified on this website as Salt Lake Occupational Therapy's Founder & Lead Occupational Therapist. We do not add degrees, licenses, certifications, reviewers, awards, or experience claims to an article unless the practice owner has verified them for publication.
Evidence and references
Educational and service content should distinguish general information from advice for an individual child. References should favor relevant primary guidance, professional organizations, government sources, and original research. A link is not an endorsement, and a source does not prove that a service will help every child.
Clinical safety and limits
Website content is educational and does not diagnose, prescribe treatment, replace an individualized occupational-therapy or medical evaluation, provide crisis care, or promise results. IEP support is clinical and educational rather than legal advice. Families should seek urgent or emergency support when safety is at risk.
Publication, updates, and corrections
Articles display publication and last-updated dates. Material changes should update the modification date. We review content when guidance changes or an error is reported. Corrections prioritize accuracy and clarity rather than preserving an outdated claim.
To report a factual error, broken source, accessibility problem, or unclear claim, email lauren@saltlakeot.com with the page URL and concern.
AI and search transparency
Structured data, crawler instructions, and machine-readable summaries are provided to clarify the site. They do not guarantee indexing, ranking, inclusion, recommendation, or citation by any search engine or AI provider. Any observations are directional and manually recorded.
See the public AI citation monitoring worksheet for the neutral method used to observe representative prompts.
